Very good for it's price

It's a great substitute for the honorable e-bow.
It behaves greatly and you'll get a good sustain out of it. Playability is also very ease, as it is comfortable on the hands.
It doesn't seem to me to pack as much power as the ebow. Farther away from the pickups it does not seem to start sustaining as fast and as loud. The tone is also not the same. On the normal setting the ebow seems to get you a richer tone, like it has octaves. This one, a little bit, but not so much
I thinkl the main advantage is the price: it's half the one of the ebow. For that reason I think its a good buy.

Não tenho experiência com este tipo de efeitos mas estou impressionado.
De fácil utilização, com dois modos sónicos, este pequeno aparelho permite sustain até ao infinito.
Existem uns milhares de videos no Youtube com tutoriais para principiantes nestas andanças e é bem mais simples de utilizar do que aparenta.
Estes sons abrem novas perspectivas e refrescam a criatividade. Não será para usar em todas as músicas mas quando usado trás uma nova côr à música.
Joyo é uma marca com bom material, bem construído e duradouro, por uns preços bastante simpáticos. Este é um bom exemplo dos bons produtos desta marca.
Sim é feito na China, mas quase tudo é nestes dias.
Prós:
- abre as portas da criatividade com os sons que produz
- excelente relação preço/qualidade
- Vem com duas pilhas de 9V, uma dentro do aparelho e outra de reserva
Contras:
- até agora nada

Se queres experimentar um efeito realmente diferente este é bastante bom.

Works with bass too

Before I bought it I didn't understand it from other reviews if it is works for bass guitar. Now I can tell you it works, but the distance between bass strings is a bit bigger than with guitar and you should use bow leaning only on one string and in the air on the other side. It need a lot of practice to be able to play clean.

Both in case of guitar or bass you need to practice to be able to obtain in short time the sound and keep it clean without interference from other strings, unwanted sounds made by touching bow on adjacent strings.

When you get it is very fun.

I've owned original eBow couple years ago, and wanted to start using this tool again without hurting my budget. It does exactly the same as eBow, but on half the price.
At first I was concerned about the shape, but in the end it fits nicely in the hand.
Somehow I remember, that eBow had better quality plastic, so it slid better on the strings, however, my memories might be wrong, since it's been years since I held eBow in my hands.
Overall - great product for a good price
