Why spend €100 when you get the same thing for €300?

This must be aimed squarely at either collectors or idiots. A really heavy, pedal board space hogging, Limited Edition Tube Screamer that arrives in an enormous metal box / Museum Display Case.

Does it sound better than any of the Ibanez or Maxon 'Screamers'? Couldn't really comment. Sound is far too subjective and personal. I certainly could not hear anything particularly remarkable about this Hand Wired Holy Grail, other than the fact that it sounds slightly different from all the others. But then 'all the others' sound different from each other anyway!

Suffice to say that I chose the Maxon OD808 - at a third of the price - for its warmer, smoother sound ... even though it commits pedalboard heresy by not having a Full-Bypass switch.

Only issue - would be better without adapter

Why not to make the same power input as other pedals? :D other than this I like the sound and the quality - feels like a tank.

The best. If you want to sound like your guitar heroes without practicing all that much this is the closest you`ll get. I`ll never use anything else. It came in a huge box and was everything it said it woild be and more!

I power it with voodoo lab and simply love how it works. It came with a little cable thingy for its power needs and never had any problems. Best tube screamer I`ve played, much headroom.

Just speechless ? It makes the sound of my marshall jvm 410c HUUGE!!!!! Best pedal ever. no regrets
