A `bit hard to handle

I like Gravity products (And the invisible force that keeps everything together) I had a desk mic stand which was ordered from Wish. It was a simple clamp/vice design but had springs on the arms to aid the readjustments. This Gravity desktop mic stand seems to be using a bent metal shaft to extend the arms. If clipped on the table and you are trying to change the angle, you are fighting against a great force straight away. I'm not sure if this design is new or the norm and my wish stand was the freak but the ease of having a handy mic stand always attached to my desk is gone that I have to battle against this thing every time I was to higher it up or lower it down.

I'm not giving it a bad review. It seems good and sturdy and very possibly I am not operating it correctly (Even after reading the 1 page instructions)

La grosse claque

A mon sens le meilleur rapport qualité prix pour un pied de micro. Il arrive après tout le monde, mais il ne déçoit pas.
Les qualités :
- Fabrication et de finition impeccables, un vrai plaisir a manipuler
- Le passe câble qui via un système simple de glissière permet d'utiliser son propre câble XLR
- Les molettes d'ajustement sont souples et permettent de définir la friction permettant ainsi d'ajuster selon le poids du micro
- La tête orientable qui donne encore plus de flexibilité
- Silencieux lors de la manipulation (important pour les gens qui font du stream)

Les moins :
- Je n'ai pas encore trouve

Conclusion : presque de 2 fois moins cher qu'un équivalent chez Rode, il fera autant l'affaire si ce n'est le dépasser et comparer le Gravity par rapport a un truc chinois a ressort bruyant c'est comme comparer Queen aux Musclés.

Eine kleine Schwachstelle

Der Arm ist superstabil, macht keine Geräusche und lässt sich (mit etwas Konzentration ob der teils ungewöhnlichen Konstruktion) in alle Himmelsrichtungen bestens einstellen und gut fixieren. (Ich hab ein Rode NT1 mit Spinne dran.)

Einige bemängeln, dass die Drehung am Fußgelenk "nur" gerastert erfolgt, aber dadurch sitzt der Arm, wenn man ihn mit der Schraube fixiert, auch dort bombenfest, fühlt sich gut an. Zumal für meine Begriffe die Rasterung als Einstellung unter normalen Schreibtisch-Bedingungen fein genug ist. Wer es aber, warum auch immer, auf die Winkelminute genau braucht oder den Arm sehr weit ausklappt und dann nur leicht schwenken will, hat allerdings eventuell ein Problemchen. Und: Man kann ihn dadurch nicht mal eben während der Aufnahme wegdrehen. Ich muss das nicht, also kein Problem. Sollte man aber wissen!

Sehr positiv der schön fester Kabelkanal, bei dem man das Kabel auch angemessen leicht wechseln kann (Ich muss den Arm öfter auf- und abbauen für den Transport.)

Einzige kleine Schwachstelle: Der Kopf mit dem vorderen Gelenk, den man für 90-Grad-Schwenks um die Schraubachse herausziehen und wieder einrasten kann, sitzt etwas leger (Gummizug? Feder?) und lässt sich auch nicht extra arretieren. Wenn der zweite Schenkel also leicht nach unten zeigt und das Mikro NT1-schwer ist, zieht es das Teil etwas raus. Es hält und funktioniert, macht aber keinen so festen Eindruck wie der Rest des Arms. Ich hoffe mal, das ist keine Sollbruchstelle ...
