Good but pricey
The main reason i got this preamp was to have a passive switch option.
It has very good quality sound and seems to be well made.
You can turn the treble all the way up and still not have harsh sounding result which is very good.
Although i tried to amplify the signal with 100% treble and there is a hiss, a minor one but it's there.
In passive mode, bass and mids don't operate as expected and the sound is really nice, i use passive mode a lot to get mellower tones.
The cons are
Relatively high power consumption (2.3mA) in comparison to other high end preamps.
The pots are sordered on the electonics directly which makes it difficult to replace.
The pots are shorter than my previous ones, i had to lower the cavity.
High price for what they offer.

No tonal difference or volume difference from active to passive. Sounds very sterile and clear.
