Great sound
I bought this pickup for my LTD H-200FM. I usually play single-note solos on distortion. And this pickup sounds very clean, fluid and fat. In mix the sound is recognisable and clean.

In wanted an HB for my SSH Strat.
I chose DiMarzio for the slightly warmer, yet still articulate sound, so as not to be too harsh as the bridge pickup.
It's not as hot as other HB's in their range, but I was looking for more of a jazz fusion sound than screaming banshee!
I also wanted something that would balance out with the single coils, that wouldn't suddenly overshadow them when switching to it from the neck or middle.
It's proven to be ideal.
It has a more solid and clear tone to it, without any piercing.
Being DiMarzio, it is well made, was easy to install, and has functioned extremely well since being added to my Strat.
A word of caution though, this was slightly wider than the supplied pickup, so a little careful removal of the scratch-plate was/may be necessary to accommodate it! (The model I have is a slightly smaller body than usual, so it may not be necessary to do any work on a standard USA Strat!)
Excellent product, warmer than most HB's, and less hot, for a better all round balanced set!
