goes the job
i use these for midi guitar pedals. works well and even handles a bit of rough handling (going to rehearsals and getting at times pressed a bit against the case).
i have used for several months, no issues so far - recommend - not sure how they would be in a few years but so far so good

Great and durable.
Don't get fooled by how thin the cable is, this range of Cordials actually has the most durable MIDI cables I've ever used on stage. Haven't had a single one break, ever. They outlived a lot of other brands you can buy of Thomann many times over!

Cordial -- always the best!
Never had a cordial cable that I didn't like. They have a great texture and don't curl up when unrolled, and re-coil easily. Although it's not a locking MIDI cable, it fits snugly into my synth.

Check in on the scope
MIDI data gets there. It's digitial :-) Sturdy finish (as solid as you can get with DIN-5..). I could check capacitance and impulse response etc.. on the scope but MIDI test gives zero errors in 100000 MIDI message with my gear, so why bother. I wish more people and things would just quietly, elegantly and proudly do their jobs like this humble little cable.

I needed shorter one to connect my pedal to my Synth, and i liked how strongly build they are, especially the pins.
Definitely recommend them.

Unbelievable value for money
I've had a pair of these MIDI cables for 2 years and they haven't ever failed me unlike the cheap stock cables that shipped with some of my gear.
At first I wasn't sure about the Cordial brand but a Thomann rep urged me to try it, and I'm glad I did.

its sturdy and good BUT it lacks the pins connected for din sync! some other midi cables can do it...
