A great choice!

We bought this for home use in the living room. We wanted a piano-like feel and sound, rather than a keyboard with lots of sounds but without the touch, and we required the USB midi output. This was a great choice.

The package weighs nearly 60kg (YIKES!) so two people to manhandle it are a must. The assembly instructions are not super easy to read but it doesn't take long, it's not difficult, and once assembled it's very easy to move around

In use, the keys feel very good, if a perhaps a litle overly textured for that faux-ebony/ivory sensation, but the action and weighting is appropriate and correct and it responds to playing dynamics the way it should. The stock default sound is a warm, full piano tone with a unique character even. I really like it. There are other variations on the piano tones too which all seem very useable indeed. Dual headphone outs, which is great, and they are easy to reach while out of view.

Lots of other sound and recording options which we don't really need but are nice to have and seem well explained in the manual. The console is not cluttered with controls and the extras never get in the way. Looks good too. It's classy even. :-)

Bottom line, this is a good piano for those who don't have room or understanding neighbours for a real piano. My wife grew up with a grand piano in her home and gives this a very happy thumbs up. Don't let the brand name or old "casio keyboard" jokes put you off. This is a quality piece.
