You can trust original converters to always to work properly. In our case we cant afford any problems in video feed or the product not to be as promised (happened almost all times with cheaper converters). Thats why we bought the original Blackmagic converters.

Ich wollte diesen Konverter nutzen um das Signal einer Sony Alpha Kamera in meine SDI-Capture Karte einzuspeisen. Die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten an dem Konverter sind sehr spartanisch gehalten. LUTs können über den PC eingefügt werden, die Firmware lässt sich aktualisieren und SDI Level A / B wählen. Damit war es das auch schon.

Nachdem ich nach zwei Tagen hin und her probieren immer noch kein 1080p60 Signal in den PC bekommen konnte erhielt ich vom Thomann Support die Info, dass es evtl. an den von mir verwendeten BNC Steckern liegt. Also neues SDI Kabel angeschafft und weiterhin kein Signal.
Maximal 720p60 oder 1080i50 mit einem Interlace, welches Streaming unmöglich gemacht hätte.
Von einem Bekannten erhielt ich den Tipp die Kamera von PAL auf NTSC umzustellen und was soll ich sagen: Seit dem klappt es. 1080p59,94 kommen am PC an, warum es via PAL 1080p60 nicht klappt bleibt mir weiterhin ein Rätsel.

Somit zusammenfassend: Da die Probleme nichts mit dem Konverter zu tun hatten fließen sie nicht in meine Bewertung ein, die für dieses Gerät nur einen Abzug bei den Features erhält da die Kamera auf PAL eingestellt nicht funktioniert.
Die Verarbeitung ist erstklassig und das ausgegebene Bild sehr gut.
