Enthusiasm followed by enormous dissapointment

So I got the microfreak interstellar after oogling synths for 2 years. Loved the freak a lot when I first got my hands on it. Other than the lack of effects, it's a really powerful little machine that can really go high and low with all kinds of crazy modulations.

Yet, after updating the firmware to v5, I stumbled upon a puzzle-esque glitch. Apparently, after updating to v5 firmware, if you have the sequencer or arpeggiater running, and you unplug the headphone jack it bricks itself by glitching into an infinite startup. All you see is the microfreak logo and it never boots.

Searched online and I'm not the first to encounter this. No fix read online other than "Send it back" basically. Might be a rare occurence but still good to know.

Other than that the synth is pretty great. Sure the keybed isn't amazing (esp if you have sweaty fingers) but esp as a starter synth you basically have a whole studio in one machine.
