Great little mixer!

The Alto ZMX 862 is a great little mixer. Ideal for karaoke systems, small disco setups or a small vocal setup. It has all the basic functionality that you'd require in a mixer of this size. Set your gains on each channel, EQ your signal how you wish and go for it!
I have used this mixer to do a couple of children's discos and it has been perfect for the job. Two devices hooked up to the stereo inputs and two mics on channels 1 & 2 and then run this to a pair of powered speakers and you've got an instant PA. It is compact enough to stash away easily in a rucksack. With the clear sound quality and the low price, it makes a good investment.

Nice mixer

I am using this mixer in two ways:
- in my home studio. I mix the various sources, computers, Traktor S4 and other mp3 players.
- with my PA during DJ gigs as well as outdoor spinning and Zumba classes.
The mixer is very compact and is easy to handle. I prefer having knobs to regulate levels instead of slides. This since it is easier to grab and adjust while being in constant move such as on the spinning bike. The build is good and give a nice quality feeling to it. A satisfying purchase.

It really is a great small sized mixer. Feels nice and solid, phantom power works well. and TWO AUX sends?! Thats just awesome.

I mainly use it for small acoustic venues ( two acoustic guitars, 2 vocals.)

A handy product

The mixer impresses me a lot. It's sturdy built and it can resist some violence that comes from handling it in live situations. It has got all the inputs and outputs one needs for this size.

I hear no noise and the signal thru it remains clean. The EQ serves its purpose well and it is easy to make those fine adjustments with it, which makes the sound sparkle.
Overall I think if one compares the price with the sound of it - it's absolutely marvellous!
