Die perfekte Gitarre in (mattem) Schwarz und Gold, mit aktiven EMG-Tonabnehmern, die erfreulicherweise nicht stark komprimieren und somit die Gitarre für alle Musikstile öffnen.

Was soll ich jetzt im Langtext sagen: die Gitarre ist so, wie man es sich wünscht. Perfekte Bespielbarkeit vom ersten Augenblick an, makellose Verarbeitung, super Setup "out of the box".
Aus dem Koffer holen, umschnallen und abheben.

Bisher kannte ich aktive EMG-Tonabnehmer nur als etwas sterile, stark komprimierende Tonabnehmer, die erst bei "heavy distortion" ihre Stärken ausspielen (_die_ Standard-Metal-Tonabnehmer vor den Fishman Fluence). Das ist hier erfreulicherweise nicht so. Die Tonabnehmer klingen sehr offen und dynamisch. Sie kommen klanglich -meiner Meinung nach- nicht ganz an die Fishman Fluence heran, aber sie müssen sich auch nicht verstecken.

Diese Gitarre kann alles, was eine Humbucker-Gitarre können kann. Also von Pop über Blues, Jazz, Rock bis heftigsten Metal, alles geht (entsprechende Verstärker/Boxen vorausgesetzt).

Positiv:
- Bespielbarkeit, Bespielbarkeit, Bespielbarkeit
- Verarbeitung
- Aussehen

Neutral:
- Klang der Tonabnehmer

Negativ:
???

Ich kann über diese Gitarre erstaunlich wenig sagen, weil sie so perfekt ist. Sie ist alles, was eine SingleCut sein kann. Und die Kombination Mattschwarz/Gold sieht super-edel aus. Man möchte sie geradezu anbeten, so perfekt ist sie.

Und jetzt wird auf die nächste ESP E-II mit Fishman Fluence gespart...

Perfekte Verarbeitung

Eine wunderschöne Gitarre mit perfekter Verarbeitung.
Der Sound ist durchlässig und gerade im High Gain entsprechend den verbauten Features.
Die matte Lackierung fühlt sich gut an, ist aber anfällig für Kratzer.
Sehr zu empfehlen.

This is by far the Best Guitar I had amongst many.

This is the Guitar i happen to choose after selling my Esp m2 that I previously had for many years, It is a tottally different guitar Though i did not regret since it has became my favorite.
The Vintage appearance is outstanding and the materials used are of top quality.The Finish comes in matte black giving it a slightly blurry look after using it which imo is a very nice look considering the vintage presentation of the instrument.
Gotoh locking tunners are working perfectly and it is always a nice spec to have.
The freatboard is a dream.I totally love it, the shape , the grip at hand, everything.
The sound is full bodied, with nice attack and overall frequency cover making this instrument ideal for rythm section playing, i do not found it ideal for shredding due to the limited scale length Though it can always support some basic lead playing.
The cleans are crystal clear as well enabling the guitar to be suitable for many music genres apart from heavy music.
This is my favorite guitar of all times.
Apparently i did not find any cons for this instrument.Everything was as it should, starting from the finish, then to materials and playability.
I will definatelly not change this Guitar .

I`ve needed a guitar beside my Gibson les paul standard for a bit of a hi -gain fun.
Well...i found it !
Made in Japan.
Delivered from the best (and for me the only)german music store in Europe.
There`s no better combination.
The guitar came beatifully packed and secured.
WOW effect big time!!!
Nothing new from Thomann;-)(thanks again !)
This is my first guitar from ESP and if i should be honest i was a bit nervous about the quality of the guitar since i read about ESP-s new confusing "labeling system".
Well ...thank God the whole gossip what you can find on different forums on the net are not true.
The guitar is very precisely made to the smallest details and the tone is exactly as i`ve expected from an Eclipse from ESP.
Ok...it does not say ESP with huge letters on the headstock on it...And?!
You can`t see it anyway while playing.
For me it`s the perfect second guitar.
