Übertrifft alle Erwartungen bei weitem

Ich hab Mittelmaß befürchtet, gehofft daß es in ein brauchbare Richtung geht, aber mit diesem unglaublichen Level hatte ich nicht gerechnet.

Optik wunderschön anzusehen und an sich tadellose Verarbeitung. Die Bünde könnten einen Tick besser poliert sein, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Beim unverstärktem Anspielen gleich in den ersten 15 Sekunden der WOW Effekt und die absoute Gewissheit daß die Gitarre nicht zurückgehen wird.
Die Bespielbarkeit ist äusserst angenehm. Dazu gibts einen resonanten, kräftig-lauten akustischen 335er Sound mit richtig viel Sustain.

Der verstärkte Klang über den Röhrenamp begeistert dann auch gleich von der ersten Sekunde weg.
Wie kann man den Ton beschreiben?
Stabil, dick, warm, holzig, rund, singend, druckvoll, viel Punch und dennoch offen, straff, hell.

Sowohl clean als auch verzerrt bekommt man genau die amtlichen 335er Sounds die man erwartet. Vielleicht etwas moderner und heller als gewohnt, und wie gesagt auf richtig hohem Level (und ich bin, was das betrifft, verwöhnt von meiner unfassbar geilen american pro tele und einer high end prs.)

beim Spielen kommen Gedanken auf, wie::
so ähnlich muß sich eine Gibson 335 aus den 60gern anfühlen / anhören (obwohl ich noch nie eine in der Hand hatte, aber irgendwie verbreitet die Gitarre Gibson Flair vom ersten Moment an)

Zusammenfassend:
Ein begeisterndes, charakterstarkes Instrument, das ich so in dieser Preisklasse nie erwartet hätte und welches ich seit Tagen nicht mehr aus der Hand legen kann.

Excellent value for money

The finish is almost impeccable. You would need to use a magnifier (and would the effort be worth?) to find anything. Even the f-holes are well painted.
This guitar is a beauty, of course. The colour might be pretty normal for this type, but it is impressingly beautiful and classic and never becomes boring.
Technically, good hardware, the guitar remains in tune (after it has accomodated itself to my home). Potis feel good and work fine. The weight is still acceptable.
As regards the sound, I find this a very mellow instrument. I am sure you can play hard-rock with this, if you want (I hardly do distortion beyond a mild crunch, thus I cannot really judge). Resonates well without an amp.
I have the impression that Epiphone has made a really good job with their "Inspired by Gibson" series.
