Very versatile!

I Just bought myself a new MODX8+ like 2-3 weeks ago. I tried some presets already and watched some tutorials for FM Synthesis. The sounds are superb and the functions are mostly handled very easily.

Some piano sounds could be a little more powerful for my taste, but they are not bad either. Depends on what you need them for.

Of course there is some learning curve with any Instrument, so I am not too dissappointed when something seems a little complicated at first. Some shortcuts or clicks just need to be learned and internalized.

I like it !

Ich war nun länger auf der Suche nach einem neuen Gerät für die Bühne. Auf meiner Suche bin ich immer wieder bei der MODX Reihe von Yamaha hängen geblieben. Schlussendlich habe ich mich dann für den MODX8+ entschieden und könnte nicht zufriedener sein.
Das Teil ist super verarbeitet und wirkt sehr hochwertig obwohl es komplett aus Kunststoff gefertigt ist. Das Gewicht hat mich auch überzeugt, was den Modx super geeignet macht für regelmäßige Liveauftritte und Transport.
Wenn man sich an die Bedienung gewöhnt hat, findet man sich sehr intuitiv zurecht und man kann sich seine Performances im Handumdrehen selbst zusammenbauen.
Da der MODX sich die Soundengine mit dem großen Montage teilt, sind die Features und die Auswahl an Presets und Performances sehr umfangreich, was mich auch sehr überzeugt hat.
Für den Preis den man hier im Vergleich zum großen Montage zahlt, bekommt man eine sehr potente Workstation die sich einwandfrei für den Livebetrieb eignet.

Buen teclado pero mala ejecucion

primero que todo, cabe aclarar que este teclado se compro para un auditorio principal, de los cuales al rededor de 10 personas diferentes usan este teclado todas las semanas, en general es bueno, la sensacion del plastico es regular pero es exelente en el sentido de duresa, las teclas se sientes livianas pero no da una sensacion comoda al menos para mi gusto, y lo mas importante es que se supone que solucionaron los errores de polifonia, pero aun siguen (en casos muy concretos, como cuando mezclas mas de 5 efectos), asi que le doy un 7/10

Amazed by the chance of building my live setups the way I want no matter the style and needs. That is the main part.
Also really nice sounds, and key touch. Absolutely recommend it.
