Well engineered kit

This is an amazing piece of hardware from a lot of difference standpoints. I use it as the centre of my PC and music setup allowing me carry out many tasks from meetings to managing different audio sources (a mixer on steroids). I know this is not its intended purpose but its a very well engineered piece of hardware. The only issue i have is that you cannot stop the audio from a mic i/p being transmitted over the monitor out. This is probably due to the way I'm using it as I don't use the headphones

Hab das Mixcast an meinem Rechner hängen, 48V Mic ist angeschlossen, mein Helix und auch noch ein Bass. Nutze das Teil also eher als Mischpult um damit alles über die Rokits laufen zu lassen.
Die vielen Ein und Ausgänge sind gut verarbeitet, USB-C Schnittstelle zum Rechner halte ich für ne blöde Idee, ist einfach nicht stabil genug am Gerät (ist bei anderen Herstellern aber oft auch so).
Die Aufnahmefunktionen sind eher primitiv, für'n Podcast wird's reichen, aber ich hätte mir trotzdem ne integrierte Klickspur gewünscht. Die Eingangspegel lassen sich hingegen prima anpassen, ggf. abschalten.
Diverse Effekte (S-Killer, Pitchshifter, Compressor) sind auch verfügbar, nutze ich nicht (war auch nicht allzu begeistert vom Klang).
Auf die Pads kann man sich 8x8 Sounds laden, auch eigene, oder Schnipsel aus seinem Podcast - ist ganz witzig.

Der neue ASIOdriver (Januar 2022) stürzt jetzt auch nicht mehr ab (windows 10) wenn man zwischen Anwendungen wie Cubase, Audacity, VLC wechselt. Die Vorversionen waren ziemlich buggy, aber jetzt läuft der Mixcast bzw. der ASIO-Treiber stabil.

Insgesamt würde ich sagen da ist noch Luft nach oben, insbesondere softwareseitig - die verbaute Hardware würde bessere Firmware verdienen. Vielleicht kommen ja weitere Updates.

Débutant dans le mixage en direct, je m’attendais à un produit plus léger, plus plastique alors que le produit est très qualitatif. Simple à utiliser, pratique. Pas compétent pour « juger » du son mais, à l’usage pour un podcast, très content de mon achat. Cela aurait été cool de pouvoir changer les couleurs des led des boutons de réglage de sortie.
