Sonido Sony a precio competitivo

Compré este micrófono porque me gusta el sonido limpio y potente del C800G, y aunque no es una réplica, sí comparte algunas características sonoras.

Pensé en comprar el modelo C100, pero era un poco más de lo que quería gastar y vi que éste era el mismo micro solo que no tenía multi patrón ni la cápsula para grabar en frecuencias hiper altas (20-50Khz). Yo solo uso un patrón en el 95% de mis grabaciones y no me preocupan frecuencias que no voy a percibir una vez mezcle la voz, a mí me interesaba el sonido Sony y con el patrón direccional que uso la gran mayoría de veces, y el C80 cumple con estos dos requisitos.

Después de haber grabado voces y guitarra, me ha gustado mucho cómo suena, entiendo que no es un C800G pero sus frecuencias agudas son suaves pero muy presentes, medios definidos y un buen grave, en relación a el precio que tiene, no existe una mejor representación de ese sonido típico sonido de Sony en el mercado.

Lo he podido comparar con un Shure SM7B y un Aston Spirit, y el Sony me da un sonido más presente, limpio, con mayor rango dinámico y más moderno. Estoy muy satisfecho.

Un micro impressionnant !!

Le micro Sony C-80 est tout simplement exceptionnel. Il offre un son moderne de haute qualité, capable de gérer les charges sonores les plus importantes. La marque Sony se fait clairement entendre dans le rendu sonore de ce produit.

Malgré mes craintes initiales concernant les sifflements, je suis heureux de constater que ce micro les contrôle parfaitement.

Il ne faut pas se laisser tromper par sa petite taille : le Sony C-80 a beaucoup de puissance et de potentiel, comme en témoigne sa performance remarquable.

Cependant, je suis un peu sceptique quant à la longévité de l'accessoire de suspension en plastique fourni avec le produit. Bien que ce dernier soit pratique pour une utilisation en studio, je suis un peu inquiet quant à sa durabilité sur le long terme. Je pense que Sony aurait pu opter pour un matériau plus robuste pour un produit de cette qualité. Néanmoins, cela n'affecte en rien les performances incroyables du Sony C-80 et je le recommande vivement !

Ein entschieden anderer Klang

Tolles Mikrofon, vom ersten Eindruck her, beeindruckend klein, beeindruckend großer Klang, beeindruckend detailreich. Aber auch auffallend schlechte Richtcharakteristik. Bemerkenswert, historisch schlechte Richtcharakteristik. Wer hat sich das ausgedacht und warum? Rauschen ziemlich niedrig, Pegel ziemlich hoch. Klanglich ziemlich "kleinmembranig" flink. Selbst meine höhenreichsten Mikros hören sich dagegen etwas dumpf und stumpf an, teilweise sogar verwaschen, so flink und hell ist das C80. Auch sehr sehr clean. Bleibt nicht viel Stütze im Tiefmittenbereich wenn man den Bass absenkt. Habe Lust damit eine Weile verschiedene Sänger oder Rapper aufzunehmen und bin gespannt, wie es sich schlägt.
Schön, mal so ein entschieden anderer Klang!

Sounds better than mics 3 times the price

The sound is great. It's a bit different from other microphones as it has a lot of clarity in the mids. They are controlled and focused. When recording vocals they almost sound compressed, I barely have to mix them for them to cut through in a mix. Now, I produce and record a lot of modern pop music. This microphone certainly has that "modern" sound. If you are going for that sound then you'll find this mic useful. However, I wouldn't use it on a vocal in an acoustic performance for example.

Con: The only giveaway that it's on the cheaper side sound-wise is in the highs and high-mids. There isn't a lot of "air" to this microphone, which isn't a problem in dense songs, but definitely more audible in minimalistic/organic songs. Air can be added in the mixing stage however.

Conclusion: I own a lot of microphones and this one blew my "famous brand"-microphones that are 3 times the price out of the water.
