I can only use one word to describe this piece of kit. Lifesaver!

Coming from an audio visual background I found this attenuator very useful when taking feeds from bands, DJ?s and even translators who often didn?t have the ability to put a pad on the original mic inputs.

Having the ability to adjust the level in three steps was a plus and selling point for me, as I?m a believer in the more control you have, the better.

My most frequent use of these attenuators would be when taking a stereo feed from a DJ. Most of the time I have the use of a digital desk with built in compressors but on the occasion I have to use an analogue desk I stick 2 of these in the signal path and I can rest assure that the PA is safe from signal overload.

The attenuator itself is really sturdy and with a bit of weight to it, it feels like it can take a bit of a rough treatment.

I would recommend any technician to have a few of these in there kit and for me it?s a must have for any gig, as you never know when you will need it!

Definitely buying more!!

Great attenuator

I bought this attenuator for a microphone preamp, thanks to its work I am able to saturate the signal without clipping my output. This was my need and I did not want to loose quality in my recording chain. This is just perfect.

Dieser Pegelminderer ist sauber verarbeitet und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Auch das recht hohe Gewicht lassen auf eine robuste Konstruktion schließen. Die eingearbeiteten XLR-Steckverbinder sitzen in Neutrik XLR absolut wackelfrei.

Ich habe den Adapter in einer Kircheninstallation montiert, da ein neues, niederohmiges Mikrofon die vorhandene Elektronik schlicht übersteuert hat. Gerade wenn zu älterer, vorhandener Elektronik keine Dokumentation mehr vorhanden ist, ist dieser Pegelminderer ideal, da drei verschiedene Stufen schaltbar sind ist eine Anpassung so sehr einfach möglich und ein Messgeräteeinsatz überflüssig.

Auch im Veranstaltungsbereich ist eine Verwendung bespielsweise an Drumsets denkbar. Für Problemfälle bei Ein- bzw. Ausgangsimpendanzen der ideale Helfer.

Super dans mon studio, cet atténuateur de micro (-15, -20, -25 db) est un outil très pratique lorsque vous avez des problèmes de gain lors de vos prises de son. La qualité shure pour un élément des plus utile. Un exemple ? Vous avez un problème de larsen, ou de sur-gain alors que vous voulez enregistrer à haut volume. Pas de problème ! Essayez le -20 ou 25db, et vous verrez qu'il n'y aura que quelques ajustements à faire. Je préconise cet appareil, comme un couteau-suisse à avoir dans sa trousse de technicien en studio ! Avec cette marque, vous aurez une restitution fidèle de votre signal
