Great desk for the price!

Had to shipped to Singapore as there wasn't anyone here who brought in studio furniture. Custom-building costed more than buying overseas and paying for shipping too.

It took me a long time to search for a desk that had all the features I wanted. My room was pretty cluttered and I wanted to consolidate al my equipment in front of me for easy access. I was contemplating Output's Platform but shipping it from the US was almost the same price as the desk itself. Stumbled upon this particular desk and instantly fell in love with the bare wood look and the design itself.

The desk's top is heavy and solid which I liked. Overall design is minimalistic and the back frame gives great support for all the gear on top. I assembled it myself but I reckon you might have it easier if there was another person helping. Installation was easy, almost like an IKEA assembly so it's quite a no-brainer.

Overall really sturdy and fits well into my work space.

Alright table

The table ia pretty nice, its quite customizable. The only gripe i have is that the speaker/rack holders are not leveled. So if your placing a pair of monitors, you might have to come up with a way of leveling the rack holders.

Still waiting on a solution

Poor build quality and fundamentally flawed in design. Desk started seriously bowing quite early on. Still no solution from Thomann or supplier. £729??? The pursuit goes on for a well crafted studio desk.

Boa mesa

Após ter investigado bastante, optei pela Sessiondesk Home Big e mais uma terceira rack central.
A mesa é feita com contraplacado em madeira que é mais resistente que o aglomerado forrado a melamina de outras mais baratas e o preço reflete isso. Não é barata mas vem muito bem acabada (e dá para pintar ou envernizar a gosto). No meu caso optei por dar uma camada ligeira de cera transparente para móveis.

A entrega demorou umas 3 semanas. Vem muito bem embalada e protegida por uma estrutura em madeira. Na hora da descarga são necessárias duas pessoas porque a embalagem é muito pesada e grande. Na montagem basta uma pessoa (com duas é mais fácil).

Negativo: Com um iMac mais mesa de mistura (com 8 kg) ao centro mais monitores e material nas racks aconteceu um ligeiro empeno do tampo (menos de 5 mm). Por isso dei 4 estrelas nas características. Mas compraria de novo.

Em resumo: uma boa mesa de trabalho que cumpre tudo o que preciso e tenho a certeza que vai durar muitos anos.
