The perfect tone

While looking to define my picking tone on bass, I tested a few less conventional materials and thicknesses : felt, leather, various degrees of friction ; convincing more or less.
But these were instant winners, the grip, tone, thickness : it felt right.
While sharper, more clacky, than felt picks, it has more roundness than plastic (while having a similar - but more comfortable - grip). Really love its tone.

I'm eager to see how they'll wear out though.

These picks have a good sound. Wood picks sound very different to plastic picks, more mellow and resonant. Compared to the other Ortega Pick types these have the most Bass Sound.

They are thick, but will wear down, to a good shape, with use, You can, also file them to any shape You want.

The Grip os ok. You can roughen The Surface, more, with sandpaper or an engraver, etc.

They are best for picking, rather than strumming, though handle strumming ok.
