The C212 is the ideal speaker for JVM205 head. It has two different Celestion loudspeakers that have demonstrated their superiority over all common equipments in extended test series, thus the cabinet meets the broad sound palette of JVM205H. The C212 is also appropriate with other extremely sound flexible amps and it always operates in mono. For stereo applications, two C212 are necessary.

Suono potente, moderno con bassi wow!!

Ho acquistato la cassa JVM C212 per poter spaziare in suoni moderni dove l’impatto sonoro è più potente un po’ in tutte le frequenze.. Ho così collegato le mie testate boutique vintage e mi sono detto vediamo cosa succede.. Be il suono è risultato subito più corposo, in tutte le frequenze ho un boost maggiore e con i puliti è molto dettagliata partendo dalle note più basse fino ad arrivare a quelle più acute. Direi una bella alternativa alle casse vintage, mi riferisco alle 1960AV, 1960AX e 1960AHW che utilizzo!! Perfetta per l’Heavy Metal e lHard Rock più spinto dove le frequenze più basse ti arrivano in faccia con gran potenza, ma ottima anche con i suoni puliti se si vuole curare e migliorare la tecnica.

Has its uses.

I’ve had this cab in my collection for a while now. It is worth having I think for a couple of reasons but it just does not sound as good as my other cabs.

The sound is harsher with less thump than my other 2x12, it also sounds a bit hollow in some way. I’ve tried both the speakers it comes with and old celestion speakers from a marshall 4x12.

This is a very transportable cab though, I can easily carry it by myself with both hands. Its a compact 2x12. Takes up minimal space for being a 2x12.

Another great thing is that this is a single input jack cab like the older marshalls without the pcb stereo abomination jack plate.

So I’d say this is a reliable compact 2x12 but the trade off is that it will not sound as good. An ok thing to have in your arsenal I think.

Much better than my Harley Benton G212 Vintage

Firstly, I bought Harley Benton G212 Vintage and replaced the speakers for the Celestion V30, UK Made. It was an OK combination. The Marshall JVM C212, coupled with my Marshall JVM 205 is on another level. Excellent built. The sound is vastly improved, to my ears. Less harsh, more harmonically rich, definitely a keeper.

Warm and clean sound

As soon as I turned on the amp and played the first chords (with a DLS 20 Head) with clean sounds I was very impressed. Then I turned up the volume and gain and immediately felt the wind pushing my training pants at the first chord... Powerful and well-defined sound.
