Mindblowing amp!

I sold my GK212 combo in order to finance this Markbass Little Mark Vintage 1000 amp with a Markbass S58R 410 Pure 8 Ohms…WATT a World of difference (pardon me the pun)! What a sound, finally my Sire Marcus Miller P7 lefty 5-String sounds like it has meant to be, even in flat, mixed or old-modus, a Markbass footswitch enables to put the amp on mute or to alter between EQ’s…from slap to old school, this amp has it all! Definitly the best amp I’ve ever used, and so light (3 kg.) in a padded amp bag! The cabinet only weighs 16,4 kg and a golden tip: purchase a Stanley 2-1 folding truck and you will roll to any venue wit ease!

1000watts!! comprarlo sin haber probado nunca un markbass, siempre he sido de Ampeg, pero cansado por el peso, me decidi por apostar por este cabezal de mark bass, y estoy impresionado! el tamaño es como el de una playstation 4, no pesa a penas creo q son 3kg, y si, señores el sonido que saca es increible, no puedo subir el volumen ni a la mitad del potenciometro, se acabaron los cacharros pesados, este lo puedes llevar en una mochila en la espalda, Lo recomiendo 200%

Bin total begeistert.

Der Amp leistet mit seinen drei Presets (Flat, Cut, Old) tolle Setups, die mit dem 4-Band EQ spielend auf den eigenen Sound abgestimmt werden können. Für meinen Geschmack sind die Frequenzen perfekt auf die Presets abgestimmt und liefern sofort tolle Sounds - ohne viel Mühen. Die Röhre macht was sie soll und lässt den Bass schön knurren. Überzieht man den Gain, kriegt man ohne Probleme angezerrte oder auch richtig raue Sounds mit ordentlich Druck. Wem das zu viel ist, kann der Röhre mit dem Limiter den Hahn zudrehen und es wird alles etwas weicher.

Die Leistung ist selbst an 8 Ohm irre und reicht für große Bühnen. Ich hab den Amp an meiner Ampeg Portaflex 4x10er HLF Box mit 800 Watt angeschlossen und bin von der Leistung echt begeistert. Kaum vorstellbar, was der an 4 Ohm rausballert ;-)

Ganz ehrlich, für 899€ ist das Ding ein "Schnäppchen". Mega Sound, satte Leistung, gute Verarbeitung und handlich. Ich werde meinen Vintige zwar dennoch ins Rack einbauen aber wenn jemand etwas handliches sucht ist er auf jeden Fall gut bedient.

Einen klitzekleinen Wermutstropfen sehe ich beim fehlenden Mute Schalter. Wenn man schnell mal den Bass wechseln will, muss man den Master komplett ausdrehen damit es nicht unangenehm in der Box scheppert. Mit dem Markbass Fotwitch Dual ist das aber wiederum möglich und von daher kein wirkliches Problem.

Ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen !!!
