Het gouden randje..!

Als producer, mixing- en masteringengineer ben ik elke dag bezig met veel verschillende plugins. Nou gebruik ik de plugin versie van de MÄAG AUDIO EQ4 enkele jaren, vooral voor de welbekende ‘airband’. Tóch was ik altijd benieuwd naar de analoge versie van dit product… Omdat ik het in stereo wilde gebruiken, heb ik 2 modules aangeschaft. Het verschil tussen de plugin en de 2 analoge modules zijn absoluut hoorbaar. De plugin kan bij extreem pushen van de airband nogal harsh worden, wat bij de analoge modules totaal niet het geval is. Het blijft gewoon loepzuiver! De andere banden zijn ook top en de sub band is super strak! Of het nou vocalen, gitaren, synths of een gehele mix is, het maakt niet uit; alles krijgt een gouden randje..!

Der Maag ist ein unglaublich feines Teil. Ich kannte ihn schon aus anderen Studios und wollte nun selbst endlich mal einen haben. Egal was man daran dreht, es klingt immer spitze – wobei man sich auch nicht selbst überlisten darf, denn mit EQ ist es meist lauter als ohne und klingt allein deshalb schon aufregender.

Die Haptik ist erstklassig und die Optik finde ich auch sehr gelungen, weil eigenständig. Ein Maag sticht immer heraus (:

Wer ihn sich leisten kann und mag: Auf jeden Fall zugreifen, ein solcher EQ wird einem nie zur Last!
