A steal at this price

Took a chance on this after months of reviews and input from the Sire owners group on Facebook who were brilliant. I went with the white version. Boy am I happy. Its a beautifully made guitar easy to play and sounds fantastic through my old ac30. I've played other guitars in music shops at the same price as this and there's no comparison. This guitar is a steal at the price. Ebony fretboard bone nut and a tuner locking system. Bought the guitar, a hard case and strap and had change from 630 euro. I would highly recommend this

Very nice

I received the quitar on 12/1/24. As far as i can estimate it is a very well made and ballanced instrument which plays like a dream right out of the box. The action is low, the neck comfortable, the playanility just exceptional. It is also very beautiful, in my opinion, of course. Many thanks to Sire and to Thomman as well for the quick and safe delivery

Overhype guitar

I bought that guitar month ago and after this time i'm not happy .
legendary quality is overhyped , quality control should be better . Shape of the neck is not C i my opinion is D . I can see a glue around the neck and close to nut , banding is not perfect too . My guitar was faulty so i'm doing return . BTW customer service is terrible , they sent me mail with advice that i should go to the luthier and try to fix problem by myself !!!!

Klingt wie sie aussieht - super

Natürlich ist das Aussehen Geschmackssache. Ich steh auf die Kombination Weiß/Gold. Die Verarbeitung ist - erwartungsgemäß - sehr sehr gut. Es gibt keine schlecht verarbeiteten Ecken und Übergänge. Der Hals ist ein Traum. Besonders der Ausschnitt am Übergang zum Korpus erleichtert das Spiel in hohen Lagen enorm. Meine Gibson LP special kann in dem Punkt nicht mithalten. Die Einstellungen bei der Auslieferung sind natürlich "allgemeingültig" gehalten, d.h. Saitenhöhe muss man sich noch nach eigener Vorliebe anpassen. Geringe Abweichungen von der Bundreinheit sind mit der leichtgängigen Brückenmechanik perfekt zu korrigieren. Kostet ca. 3 min. Gegen die aufgezogenen .009 Ernie Ball Saiten ist momentan nichts zu sagen. Allerdings werde ich irgendwann wieder .010 Saiten aufziehen. Für den Bereich Hardrock/Metal klingen die einfach fetter. Die Umstellung am Hals sollte dann kein Problem sein - auch wenn die Verstellschraube (Gibson-klassisch) am Kopf platziert - nur eine zweitbeste Lösung ist. Die beste Lösung mit Schraube am Korpus passt halt nicht zum Typ. Der Klang: Die Pickups und die deren Einstellbarkeit über die leichtgängigen und Präzisen Potis sind sehr variabel - es tut sich was, wenn man dran dreht. Im Wesentlichen macht die Gitarre das, was eine LP tun sollte - sie singt. Wunderschön oder kräftig - sowohl clean wie auch verzerrt. Genauso will ich das. Wer bemängelt, dass die Pickups nicht splitbar sind wie bei der Epiphone, soll das tun. Ich verlange nicht von einer LP, dass sie klingt wie eine Strat. Wer diesen Klang will, sollte auch eine Strat spielen. Das tu ich auch.
Nichts gegen Gibson aber bei Existenz von Gitarren wie dieser am Markt, sollte eine Original LP Custom deutlich billiger sein. Aber das ist natürlich eine Frage der Philosophie und des Marken-Images.
