La mia testata JVM205 sembrava un barattolo di api da tanto che faceva casino (intendo il canale più "spinto", l'overdrive rosso, gli altri tutto abbastanza nella norma)...messo il DECI-MATE nel loop effetti...ora anche col gain a palla suona che è una meraviglia!
Il vero punto di forza di questo pedale sono le dimensioni, che essendo veramente molto ridotte fanno in modo di poterlo sistemare su qualunque pedaliera, anche al volo.
Unica nota: non è un difetto ma una semplice constatazione...rispetto agli altri noise-gate in circolazione (ne ho avuti alcuni negli anni) il threshold va impostato piuttosto alto (io per suonare death metal lo metto fra -10 e 0db).
Nel complesso promosso a pieni voti, tornassi indietro lo comprerei di nuovo.

noise Gate intelligente

Un gran bel prodotto, settato correttamente ha un intervento graduale ottimo che non ti fa percepire la presenza di un noise gate! Risultato: suonabilità naturale e trasparente, zero rumori di fondo.
Inoltre è di taglia micro, entra in qualsiasi pedaliera.

the PERFECT noise gate

i've bought it to build a small pedalboard, because my standard sized ISP decimator (the infamous silver one, shaped like a Boss pedal and heavy like a brick) was a bit too bulky.
this version is much smaller and lighter, and is just as excellent as the bigger pedal.
it's perfectly transparent, doesn't change the attack and doesn't interfere with dynamics - except at VERY high levels, but you can't have everything.

my second purchase

i already had one of these on my pedalboard hooked to a Mesa DR, with heavy distortion going into the red channel.. and oh boy it could get loud. this little pedal took care of all of that, and did not eat away from my sustain while doing it. very slightly.. def ntg i cant live with during soloing.. silent as a sleeping baby when its on, i play a lot of riff driven songs and palm mutes and cut offs are clearly mute and silent.. not a hum.. i bot this second unit for my JCM800 setup.. took a bit more -db to get rid of the noise but did the job nonetheless.. when its on the amp is completely silent. one note, for what its worth, the unit works better going into the amp then it does going thru the fx loop. takes less db to shut off the noise.. i put mine after all the noisy pedals, but before delay and reverbs.... on the Mesa setup i also have a Zuul going thru the fx loop.. yes, it takes both of them to tame the pedal/amp combination i have going on.. on the JCM, all i need is one.. ive been a long fan of isp products, they do one thing and they do it right.. everyset up i create will have one of these on it !!!
