As this was my first journey into the Hotone brand, the Ampero II Stomp made a lasting impression on me and is a surprise contender in the multi-effects market alongside better-known brands. It deserves its place in the list of established competitors if you’re looking to go digital and own it.

This is my first multi-effect and it was a wise choice. I didn't had any pre amps or pedals before so I wanted to try them all in this little box.
The reason I decided to buy Ampero is versatility. Also I connected my usb mic to this multi-effect just for fun and it works perfectly. Now I'm playing with original presets and I'm satisfied with it, for first time default presets are more than enough.

My niggles:
AUX signal doesn't goes to usb output

I have had several multi-effects pedals over the years but the Hotone Ampero Stop 2 is by far the best!

Ich hatte sowohl den Ampero One, als auch den Ampero II Stomp zum Vergleich. Der Stomp klingt schon noch Mal ein wenig besser und das Pedal beim One ist nicht sehr nützlich, da es zu klein ist. Da lohnt es sich bei Bedarf ein extra Pedal zu kaufen.
Die Bedienung übers Touchfeld bzw am PC/Mac ist sehr einfach. Die Software läuft am Mac zwar noch etwas hakelig, aber trotzdem gut benutzbar. Ich hätte mir noch längere Loopzeiten gewünscht, bzw eine Speichererweiterung per SD Karte.
Für User Patches gibt es Gruppen auf Telegram oder die chinesische community website des Herstellers.

p.s. Das Updaten der software ist anfangs kompliziert. Ihr müsst von alt nach neu hochpatchen. Kurze Anleitung:
1. guckt welche Firmware Version ihr auf dem Gerät habt.
2. ladet die Editor-Software (!) von HoTone runter, die mit der Firmware kompatibel ist (also nicht die neuste!!)
3. updated jetzt mit der "alten" software die Firmware des Geräts (dafür müsst ihr die neuste Firmware jetzt runterladen)
4. ladet euch jetzt erst die neuste Editor-software.
