Uno strumento per chi stà imparando e per chi invece è professionista

Ho acquistato questo strumento più per curiosità che per necessità :ho strumenti "blasonati" da Ybanez Prestige, Fender strat 1988, Yamaha revstar rsp20cr etc. Con mia grande sorpresa questa Fusion-III è uno strumento che non sfigura con le marche suddette. Ottimi suoni ,timbrica ,sustain..devi prima settarla bene perchè non ti arriva con le corde che sfiorano il manico.....ma una volta fatto il giusto setup e cambiate le corde ecco che ne esce come nella storia del brutto anatroccolo di Hans Christian Andersen, un bel cigno bianco. Ottimo anche lo split che permette la miscelazione di timbri diversi adatti a vari generi. Certo ,se vuoi pick up blasonati "forse" suonerebbe meglio...ma credimi già così ti farà divertire senza la necessità di spendere altro denaro. Piccolo neo le finiture! Nelle fosse degli alloggiamenti dei pick up e dove c'è l'incavo del selettore a 5 posizioni manca la verniciatura... Detto questo te la consiglio a viva voce!

Appalling quality control

I've had this guitar for several months and it's fundamentally a great guitar. It looks better in real life than in the photos and for the price has a very solid feel and is very versatile.

When I originally received it and opened the box it looked great. However, on close inspection there were a few issues:-
1)The action was very high.
2) the bridge pickup was loose and moved around easily.
3) the stainless frets were pitted and very noisy when bending notes.

I was tempted to send it back, but I really liked the looks and feel of it, and i'd intended to fit lighter strings so hopefully could sort the issues at the same time.
The pickup just needed the springs which sit behind it stretching a little.
I polished the frets with some very fine wet and dry, but need to do a lot more as they're still far from perfect.
I also lowered the saddles and the bridge. There's not much room under the bridge so can only dive with the tremolo.
Unfortunately, with the bridge lowered it was obvious that the nut was much too high too...notes on the first couple of frets were sharp. To correct this I had to lower the nut.

With all that done the guitar now plays quite nicely. The pick-ups are nothing like the more expensive ones in my other guitars, but it's great to use for practise and as a backup for gigs.

Incredible guitar

Comfortable and responsive, pleasant timbre, excellent attack, fingers easily fly over the neck. Components and materials are of high quality, assembly and painting are excellent. I am overwhelmed with the desire to play this "cuttlefish" from only one species.

Really nice guitar, love it. It appears to be a bit bluer in real life, but overall no flaws whatsoever.
