Questo basso di economico ha solo il prezzo , la liuteria è ottima, la tastiera è perfetta ha delle caratteristiche che si possono trovare solo in bassi costosi come il capotasto zero fret, i tasti in acciaio , il ponte massiccio con sistema di ancoraggio delle corde through body ...
I pickup sono ottimi forniscono un suono potente e definito, buona varietà di suoni dal jazz bass allo Stingray. Inoltre si può splittare l'humbucker ed avere suoni molto simili al jazz bass .
Il Low B è eccellente suona bene presente e definito su tutta la tastiera.
Esteticamente è bellissimo il corpo in frassino ha una finitura molto bella verniciato satinato in maniera impeccabile come del resto anche il manico .

Caratteristiche notevoli
Esteticamente molto bello.
CONS
il preamp è un po' sparone non bisogna esagerare da alzare i toni ma comunque ben sfruttabile .
Non è un basso leggero pesa abbastanza ma è ben bilanciato vin una buona tracolla larga si tiene bene .
CONSIGLIATISSIMO !!!!

La prova del trempo

Per il basso in questione, purtroppo, la prova del tempo non ha dato risultati soddisfacenti, l elettronica distorce quando lo uso in attivo, avevo provato a cambiare il pick up ma il risultato e' lo stesso, quindi ho deciso di rimettere quello originale, in passivo suona bene ma non ha un controllo del tono.

Great product for great price!

I've been looking for bass that has enough sound options (like different pickups, 5 strings) and a great look. This bass has everything i need!

Pros:
1) Great setup from factory - no bad frets, great action, everything works! Have to mention that my bass came with good nut!
2) Amazing body and neck finish - it feels so smooth and nice! I don't have enough words to describe how nice it is!
3) Sound - these pickups are so different! And you can get really different sounds out if them. Have to mention, that this bass has active preamp with eq, what makes it even more intresting!
4) Packaging was really good!

Cons:
1) Have to mention that my bass had a bit rusty truss rod - don't think that this is such a big problem

Conclusion:
This is my second Harley Benton guitar that i bought on Thomann, and i'm so happy about it! I was expecting so much worse quality with it! If you're thinking about buying bass with amazing sound, quality and look - this is your chance to get one!

Destroys the Competition

Wow, first off I work as a repair technician for a major retailer of musical instruments in the USA, So I get to try and do work on a lot of different instruments at different price points. All I can say is, this does not feel like it cost less than $400, It can easily compete with basses at the $1k pricepoint. Finish and quality is impeccable, Sound i punchy and articulate. The preamp does get noisy when boosting the treble a lot, and I would of preferred a hi mid control instead of a treble. But That's something most people upgrade on basses at this price point. You Can't go wrong with this bass, buy it now! and maybe buy a second one!
