Really good idea

A kit that the customer can shape themselves is an excellent idea and it turned out to be an excellent product.
The only real problem is the angle of the jack socket hole which makes it difficult to fit the jack socket and the cover plate. As it is the hole had to be modified and a square cover plate used. Other than that everything fitted together well.

At first you think that sky is your limit with this big platform to form your dream guitar BUT the big electronic whole position based on big Les Paul makes it almost impossible to do anything beside a big Les Paul.

da ich dank treppendorfer flurfunk wusste das er kommt, gleich am ersten tag bestellt! wie immer seeeehr flotte lieferung!👍
im Gegensatz zum tele-bausatz doch grosser karton dank dem imensen body! 😜
Qualität gewohnt gut, Bauanleitung brauchbar allerdings wieder ohne Beschreibung bzw maße der schrauben,was bei dem bausatz ohne schlagbrett nicht ganz so wild!😉
hals passt perfekt in den korpus, ohne jegliches spiel! anbauteile harley standard und dadurch sehr brauchbar!
da meine noch in arbeit ist ...... shape-unikat, schlagbrett, duesenberg tremolo, rollerbridge und P90 statt humbucker..... kann ich noch nix zum klang sagen bzw wird sie eh anders klingen! 😉
was ein nettes goodie wäre , wären beschriftete kabel bzw farbig markiert damit man sofort sieht was wohin muss!
einziges manko das bisher aufgefallen ist war eine lose steckverbindung eines Tonabnehmers , was aber gleich behoben war!
bei meinem korpus geht lasur leider nicht wirklich da die farben des holzes (dreiteiliger body) zu sehr variieren! doch egal..... wird eh glamrock/glitter lackiert!
fazit.....
wer sich in sachen form frei verwirklichen will ist hier genau richtig!
evtl besteht ja mal die Möglichkeit hier bilder einzustellen,dann würd ichs natürlich gerne teilen! 😜

This was a very fun build until it was time to start connecting the electronics. The manual does not say which wire to connect to which. And I know almost nothing about electronics.
This could have been very simple if Harley Benton just color coded the wires.
Harley Benton REALLY need to put some time in making better instructions.

Other than that, I am satisfied.
If this problem was fixed I would have given the kit a 5 star rating.
