There would not be much to say about Dunlop wah wah pedals if there were not so many different models. At the end of the day, almost every guitarist worth naming has one on his pedalboard at some point or other. Bassists as well have their own Dunlop wah wah pedal. It is important that the adjustable frequency range chosen is correspondingly lower, without stressing the low frequencies too much. This pedal is ideal for when the bassist wants to come to the front of the stage for a break or a solo instead of always standing in the background. With this pedal, the bass sound cannot be ignored.

L'ho acquistato per usarlo sui miei bassi, un precision vintera e un ESP b205 fretless.
Il pedale suona bene ed è semplice da usare.
Il suono è bello e può essere regolato da due potenziometri (volume e Q = risonanza del filtro), che però sono molto piccoli e non sempre comodi da regolare. Funziona al meglio su strumenti dai toni aperti, sui suoni più chiusi è meno incisivo.
Costruzione super solida.
È importante sapere che è costruito con un meccanismo di ritorno a molla, diversamente da altri wah, quindi per avere il massimo dell'apertura bisogna tenerlo abbassato con il piede, non c'è la possibilità di lasciarlo aperto senza premere.
In più c'è un sistema interno di auto-bypass che lascia l'effetto innescato per qualche attimo anche dopo aver tolto il piede dal controllo (simile al release/rilascio di un inviluppo): se si suona in maniera continua è possibile sentire una sorta di "salto" tra suono effettato e suono pulito. Su internet si trovano varie guide su come regolare internamente al pedale il pot del tempo di "rilascio" dell'effetto, ma non ho provato a seguirle per non invalidare la garanzia.

In sintesi: un wah dal bel suono, costruzione solida e compatta, provato anche con una squier CV 60s jazzmaster e anche lì fa il suo bel lavoro.

Come ricreare l'emozione delle chitarrate di Hendrix... col basso! E in più ha la Q regolabile che rende l'effetto più o meno percettibile a seconda delle esigenze. Ora non mi resta che studiarmi qualche riff del Divino!

I play anything from rock to metal. I use the wah for solos and to give some texture in some parts. After watching some reviews I was impressed by the sound of this pedal compared to normal guitar wahs. so i decided to give it a shot.

Arrived fast and safe. Construction quality is excellent and feels pretty robust. Also a white crybaby looks really cool

I wanted a big and noticable swipe and this pedal does just that. It handles the low frequencies better than other guitar wahs I have tried. I cant say this it is very versatile but has that aggresive and fat sound that i was looking for. As a guitar player I would put it into the dimebag style wahs category

adjustable Q, volume and true bypass are all nice features and probably all you need from an wah pedal. Plus it has an auto on/off switch that will spoil you.

I'm a guitar player who uses this pedal and it has been a trade up form my last wah-pedal. The press and play function instead of having to push and click (to turn the pedal off and on) is very usefull and has reduced my stress levels immensely during live gigs when the monitors are inadiquate. The sweep is very satisfying with a more deep bass to mid sound than a guitar-wah and it feels guttural. Initially bought this for my bass player but after trying it out I kept it for myself! The only negative thing I could say about this pedal is that when you release and it snaps back to your normal tone it makes a "click" esque sound, not exactly a click but the transition is noticable.
