Beautifully made Diezel in a box

I am in a lucky position to have Diezel amp, the D-Moll (mini-Herbert) and I have to say that this pedal really does sound like the pre-amp of the Diezel amp.
This pedal going into my Two-notes CAB-M gives me the perfect late night silent high gain recording sound, without annoying the neighbourhood, which sadly my real Diezel set-up does. It has the Diezel mid removal sound which is switchable to give you 'that sound' (which is why you buy the pedal).
Yes it is a relatively expensive pedal, and it is a BIG pedal. I dropped two stars on the fact that you need a relatively high miliamp 12V supply to power the thing, so your standard 9v power block won't power it (unless you have 12v outputs also), which is a bit of a pain.
The presence and deep control allow you to really tweak it you your amplifier - even my Peavey Bandit. What is nice is that it has a specific output to put into the effects return of your amp or into a power amp to be a self contained proper pre-amp.
KILLER sound though! (very different to Engl, Marshall or Peavey). So very happy with it..

Super Teil, super Verarbeitung und super Sound.
Allerdings sind die LEDs so hell das man im dunkeln sogut wie nichts auf dem Pedal sieht. Aber wer muss schon was sehen, hier geht es ja schließlich um die Akustik ;)

classique haut de gamme

alors rien à dire c'est du haut de gamme, ça sonne d'enfer mais j'y vois un seul bémol: la pédale ne sonne pas super bien à faible volume.
le potard de volume n'est pas super progressif donc difficile d'avoir un bon son à volume de chambre de nuit du coup, quand mes enfants dorment, je joue sur une autre pédale de disto....alors en soit c'est pas un drame mais pour une pédale de disto c'est quand même un comble de constater que mon ampli à lampe en mode grosse disto sonne mieux à bas volume que la pédale mais bon...la perfection n'est pas de ce monde!

Die Rythm- und Riffmaschine

Habe einen JVM410H, PRS MT15 und einen Framus Dragon. Was Rhythmus- und Riffs anbelangt stellt er die alle locker in den Schatten. Hätte ich nie gedacht. Vertrug sich auch mit meiner 7-Saiter (auf A gestimmt) auf Anhieb gut. Braucht keinen Tubescreamer o.Ä. davor. Ist auch variabel im Klang.
Für Leadsounds allerdings nicht mein Ding, das können die 3 oben genannten besser. Da ist mir dieses Pedal zu kratzig. Aber das ist vermutlich Geschmacksache. Für die oben genannten Einsatzbereiche jedoch eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
Das Gehäuse ist leider nicht so wertig wie es aussieht, recht dünnes Blech, aber es erfüllt seinen Zweck.
