Comodo ma migliorabile in rapporto al prezzo

Acquistato per ascoltare in cuffia l'ukulele elettrico Harley Benton; sono un utente senza esperienza in questo tipo di strumenti.

L'ho scelto perchè rispetto a prodotti di fascia bassa può suonare sia clean che distorto e con maggiori combinazioni di effetti in un unico dispositivo.
Abituandosi alle piccole rotelle delle regolazioni l'utilizzabilità non è male, ma soprattutto all'inizio richiede un po' di pazienza nei tentativi.

Pro: maneggevolezza, versatilità nei suoni per gain e volume e possibilità di avere 3 effetti (non regolabili), collegamenti semplici e veloci, solo ingresso jack e cuffie.

Contro: la regolazione del tono ISF risulta poco efficace, variandola il tono e il timbro non cambiano molto; il prezzo è piuttosto elevato in rapporto all'efficacia dell'effetto nel processare il suono, se tecnicamente è il massimo che può fare in queste piccole dimensioni si otterrebbero clienti più soddisfatti riducendo il prezzo di almeno 10€.

Queste motivazioni mi hanno portato a assegnare un punteggio comunque sufficiente all'articolo.

Il mio compagno notturno..

L'ho acquistato perchè la sera tardi spesso vengo colto da una voglia irrefrenabile di suono elettrico. Mi sono informato in rete, e mi sono imbattuto in questo simpaticissimo e utilissimo oggetto.
In pratica lo attacchi direttamente alla chitarra con il suo jack, dopo di che inserisci le cuffie nella sua presa (phone), e il gioco è fatto. Ha 3 cursori (gain, isf "tono", e volume). Possiede anche 3 effetti molto utili (chorus, delay e riverbero). Il chorus è un po troppo spinto per i miei gusti, ma delay e riverbero sono molto buoni!! Il piccolino arriva già fornito di 2 stilo piccole.
E' davvero un oggetto da tenere in casa per ogni chitarrista elettrico che soffre di "attacchi elettrici" notturni :)
Non da fastidio ai vicini e ai bimbi che dormono e nel frattempo a te sembrerà di essere su un palco a suonare alla grande..

Really impressive

I've been using the amp mainly for evening practice while my son's asleep, and I'm really impressed with it. I play it with my SG, mostly with the clean channel, and the amp fits the guitar jack socket fine with no problems.

Things I like about it:
- Three channels: clean, distortion and lead (overdrive-y). I mainly use the clean channel which sounds really nice and clear; the distortion channel has a good crunch to it. I haven't used the lead channel very much, but it sounds pretty good, and distinct from the distortion channel.

- Aux input. This is really handy for plugging my phone in to play along with things.

Things I don't like that much:
- The 'on' button is quite small and recessed a bit, which makes it a bit fiddly to press. You need to hold it for a couple of seconds to turn it on and off, so I've never bumped it and accidentally turned the amp off - nothing wrong with the button, but I just don't like it that much.

- It feels a bit plasticky in general, which is to be expected since it's made from plastic and is nice and cheap. Again, this is a really minor thing, and the amp doesn't feel flimsy in any way.

Other things:
- It has a few built-in effects (chorus, delay and reverb) with a couple of different presets for each. I used them a bit when I first got the amp - they sound fine - and then I've never used them again, so no strong opinion either way.

Overall I really like it. It's nice having the option of different channels, and the sound is great.

Lightly armoured yet packed with features and tonal munitions

Ideal for situations that require discrete/silent playing and for trips on which you can bring your quitar but cannot take your amp as well.

Pro's:
- (chorus, delay en reverb) x (clean, crunch en lead); lots of sounds
- Small
- Design
- 6,3 hinge plug

Con:
- small control buttons/dials
- Especially the dials, I treat them very gently as I suspect them to be somewhat vulnerable.
- Fits my Strat, Ibanez SA but on my SC, Ibanez RT, it kinda "hangs" down under making it somewhat hard to operate the buttons
- Not necessarily "affordable"
- Switching between clean, crunch en lead requires two hand opertion when the amplug is in the guitar (otherwise it turns around the plug socket).
- A more solid casing/housing would be according its price (delrin, alumium). Same for control buttons and controls; more rugged/durable parts (materials) would be appreciated.

Overall a positive verdict with some remarks
