Wonderful once debugged

I had the AKG WMS420 shipped from the UK to me here in South Africa, where I use it for my alto and soprano saxophones.
On delivery, there were some issues with the transmitter pack - a local music store identified some solder dry joints. Once fixed, the set has been working extremely well, and gives a really good tone for both saxes which is important for me.
The signal continuity is good and the range also very good.
The Band D set is one of the approved frequency ranges in SA. Make sure you get the right spec for your country.
I know Thomann have a returns policy, which I have used without any problem previously. This was just the simpler route for me in this instance. So I am now happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Un micro cravate de bonne qualité

Un produit facile d'emploi et de très bonne qualité sonore. Aucun problème de mise en oeuvre. La détection de pile faible est claire pour un utilisateur non technicien.

La portée (émission-> réception) est très bonne mais quelle est la puissance réelle d'émission : 50 mW sur le site Thomann ou 10 mW sur le boîtier émetteur ?
Trois petites critiques :
- Le couvercle du compartiment pile semble un peu fragile.
- On préférerait un poussoir "veille"/"émission" à un interrupteur à glissière plus difficile à actionner dans la poche...
- Le réglage du "squelch" est très mal décrit dans la notice. C'est pourtant simple...

Die Schaumstoffkappe des Mikros bereits nach wenigen Tagen (und mehrfachem Abrutschen) verloren, der Schiebeschalter mit drei Positionen Off - Mute - On nicht ideal, da nicht präzise bedienbar, wenn man im Betrieb öfter mal unter der Kleidung kramen muss und dann nach dem Ausschalten evtl. 2 Sek. warten muss, bis man wieder sprechen kann.
Klangtechnisch habe ich nichts zu meckern.

Prós - Muito simples de trabalhar; Ainda não tive qualquer interferência na utilização de 12 sistemas (2 em cada banda) em simultâneo;

Contras - O microfone de lapela do Presenter Set é mediocre; Material do transmissor aparenta ser pouco resistente;
