Alors je débute dans le modulaire , et ayant manipulé testé beaucoup de synthétiseur "classique" je me suis fait ma petite expérience , mais en passant par le modulaire on réapprend ces bases en synthèse.
Je voulais un module couteau suisse ... il l'est avec lfo , divers séquenceur , quantizer ,etc... voir les specs du produit .
Mais pour un débutant comme moi en modulaire , les premières heures sont difficiles , ce munir de la doc dispo sur internet du créateur du O&C originel (qui est un projet open source) car ce module est peu intuitif de première abord , mais une fois compris est d'une efficacité absolu .
J'aime beaucoup les apps séquenceur car me permet de générer des mélodies rapidement , et de me concentrer à tweaker la partie synthèse .

Der uO_C von After Later Audio ist ein kompakter und super funktionaler CV Prozessor. Ich habe ihn mir eigentlich für den Job "quantisieren" bestellt, das Gerät kann aber viel viel mehr als nur quantisieren!

Die Bedienung ist richtig gut gelöst, statt ein Endlosdrehregler sind gleich zwei verbaut. Das macht die Navigation durch die gut strukturierten Menüs einfach und super schnell. Die Verarbeitung ist Top, alles macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Das Display ist, wenn auch etwas klein scharf und stets gut lesbar.

Mittlerweile gibt es 3 Software Varianten: Hemisphere, Benisphere und Phazerville, alle mit unterschiedlichen Ausrichtungen in der Funktionalität. Die ganze Software ist open source und läuft unter der Arduino Entwicklungsumgebung. Als Controller
dient ein Teensy 3.1.

Die Funktionen in der Original Software erscheinen auf den ersten Blick etwas kompliziert, ist man aber mit dem System vertraut, flutscht alles wie von alleine. Das Ding ist eine wahre Fundgrube an Funktionalität, ich war und bin sehr begeistert. Durch die open source Struktur der Software gibt es sicher noch einige neue Varianten zu testen. Die Stärken sind ganz klar die Kombinatinsmöglichkeiten unter den vier Einheiten. CV und Trigger Eingänge können frei zugewiesen werden, dadurch entstehen sehr coole Kobinationsmöglichkeiten und Effekte.

Punkte die ich als Verbesserung empfinden würde:

- It has a lot of sequencer applets that can be used for pitch or other modulation sequences: Euclidean and step sequencers; a Marbles, a Mimetic Digitalis and a TB-303 style sequencer; Turing machines...
- Envelopes, LFOs (even has an applet for a Clep Diaz style clocked step modulation/LFO), logic operations, gates...
- Drum applets (kick+snare, and even a drum map inspired by MI Grids)
- Utilities like tuner, oscilloscope (are you kidding me, right?!)...

...and at least 30 other unique and useful applications. The only catch with this module is that you can only use 2 applets at all time! Go check out the latest firmwares, which are open sourced by the way.

Highly, highly recommended module!
