Nice addition to my Yani sax

I bought the BooStar because the default screw on my Yanagisawa tenor was a little too small for my fingers. This replacement makes it much more comfortable. As for the claim that it "boosts" your tone, well... I cannot make any bullet-proof claim, however my impression (for what it's worth) is that it achieves a slight improvement in tone stability. Thus, not a boost or a tonal change but, rather, maybe a little help to tone control.

YanY BooStar für Tenor Sax

Das Produkt ist wie von Yanagisawa gewohnt in sehr guter Qualität hergestellt. es besitzt eine tolle Optik und Haptik.
wertet auf jeden Fall das Sax auf.
Eine Verbesserung von Intonation und Ansprache habe ich nur gering wahr genommen. Der Klang ist etwas dunkler. Aber auch nicht signifikant.
Alles in allem sehr gelungen.

Szczerze, to nie spodziewałem się zbyt wiele, bo cóż taka mała śrubka może pomóc? No i zaskoczenie. Liczyłem na ewentualną, subtelną poprawę w górnych rejestrach saksofonu altowego. Okazało się, że dźwięk jest bardziej masywny w całej skali.
Przymierzyłem też do tenoru, nie oczekując zbyt wiele. I kolejne zaskoczenie. Pozytywna różnica w brzmieniu również jest wyczuwalna w całej skali, mimo, że mam bardzo ciepły i ciemny saksofon Yani 992 bronze. Efekt? Zamówiłem kolejny Yany BooStar żeby mieć na obu saksofonach.

diese Schraube ist zusammen mit dem Toko Klangbogen eine schöne Aufwertung des Instrumentes. Die Anschaffung ist allemal zu empfehlen.
