5BN verses terra 5BN

As a long-time 5BN user, I recently tried out the Terra 5BN. In my opinion, there’s no significant difference in performance. That said, they do look and feel a little different. I really like the visual design, and the feel/grip is quite appealing. Anyone who’s dedicated to the 5BN shouldn’t worry about wasting money on something they can’t use—you’ll like them. Will you switch permanently? Well, a few gigs will tell. Try them out folks.

Solider Stock

Hab mir aus Neugier diese Neuheit aus dem Hause Vic Firth gegönnt und bin positiv überrascht.

Optisch is er im Vergleich zum normalen VF Stock dunkler und die Maserung kommt sehr schön durch. Die Verarbeitung ist grundsolide und ich kann keinen Makel erkenne.

Der Stock liegt sehr gut in der Hand, is gut ausbalanciert und auch tonal sehr gut abgestimmt. Einzig die Beschichtung ist etwas dick, was dazu führt, dass bei schwitzigen Händen, der Stock etwas rutschig wird.

Nach längeren Probesessions, hat der stick die normalen Spielspuren, aber is noch lange nicht am Ende.

Ich frage mich ernsthaft, wo die 2€ Preisunterschied, zum klassischen Modell herkommen, da dieser Stock wirklich nur optisch sich unterscheidet. Aber das freut auf jeden Fall den Geldbeutel.

Kann diese Sticks auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
