Great purchase, but definitely worth looking into before buying. Sounds like a metal piece- Bright, loud, plenty of kick, free blowing, powerful and great for pop/rock or DJ Sax gigs. Needs a lot of air, otherwise sounds thin and weedy. Altissimo is accessed easily.

Having recently switched to using a T 45 on my tenor sax, I decided to check out the alto version. Its very early days as I mainly play tenor, but I like the sound projection and also found low C-Bb easier to hit than my current previous mouthpiece. Cant decide yet if a 2.5 or 2.0 Legere American cut works best.

Ich spiele sehr gerne Mundstücke mit hoher Stufe und kleiner/mittlerer Kammer. Das Jumbo Java A45 hatte ich (in der normalen Version) schon ein paar Mal bestellt aber immer wieder zurückgeschickt, da mir irgendetwas nicht gefallen hat.

Beim Blauen A45 muss ich sagen, war ich begeistert. Kombiniert mit der MO Ligatur von Vandoren und einem guten Java grün 2.5 konnte ich alles spielen von leise bis laut, hauchig bis hell. Klassik würde ich damit allerdings nicht machen wollen.

Vermutlich liegt es eher an mir als an dem Material, da es wie das normale Jumbo Java A45 aussieht. Vielleicht liegt es an dem schönen Blauton (die Fotos werden dem nicht gerecht) ;-) der mehr extrem gut gefällt.

Auf jeden Fall in der Preisklasse ein Wahnsinnsmundstück, dass ich weiter spielen werde.
