awful quality, massively overpriced

The price definitely doesn't match the quality here.
1. Name: It says "tabletop", but you will scratch any surface you place this on.
2. Quality: The edges of those rack ears are very, very sharp. It will cut you while you work on your eurorack - mounted or placed on the table
3. Finish: it's painted with a finish that is soft to the touch. It scratches very, very easily.

This is a very bad design and that price makes it even worse.

Handy and versatile, but not the best finish

They work well with the Tiptop rails and the four screws are included. It can be used as tabletop or mounted on a rack, although for the former I find the edges are dangerously pointy and sharp.

Rack Ears für 19" Flightcase

Ich habe mir die Rack Ears geholt, da ich bereits im Besitz des Happy Ending Kits war und ich nun ein weiteres Geschoss gebraucht habe.

Es gibt nicht viel zu sagen: Material und Verarbeitung sind top, jedoch sollte man aufgrund des schwarzen Lackes vorsichtig sein - Einmal mit dem Schraubenzieher ausrutschen und der Kratzer ist schnell verursacht.

Die Tabletop Variante eignet sich besonders, um schnell ein brauchbares "Skiff" für seine Eurorack Module zu basteln. Ist aber für meine Zwecke nicht relevant.

Jedoch wieso nur drei Punkte? Schlicht gesagt der Preis. Ja bei Thomann ist das mitunter einer der günstigsten Rack Ears (zumindest was ich finden konnte), aber bei einschlägigen Seiten kriegt man Ears von NoNameBrands (Ist eigentlich nochmal besser, da kein Branding auf den Teilen) für deutlich weniger. Letztlich habe ich mich am Ende aus ästhetischen Gründen für den Kauf entschieden, kann aber den Sparfüchsen unter uns oder die es werden wollen daher nicht voll empfehlen.
