Great string, good sustain with bright overtones

I used it to replace an Evah Pirazzi, which also a great quality string, but was much higher tension and slightly darker. The Thomastik is brighter, with a sustained low and a pleasing 'ping' when plucked.

Comparaison tension avec une corde solo

Beaucoup se pose la question corde solo moins tendue (un ton) ou cordes Spirocore Light ? Une corde de D par exemple (E en solo) passe de la tension 34 donnée par Thomastik à 27 (proportionnel au carré de la fréquence (74/83)au carré) ce qui la place en dessous de la Light qui affiche 29 en tension. J'ai essayé et j'ai repris une Light car à l'archet il faut être virtuose pour ne pas que ça grince avec la solo... Son trop brillant de la solo contre feutré et clair pour la Light...
