Ich bin erstaunt, wie sehr sich der Sound meines Kontrabasses durch die Saiten verbessert hat.
Der Sound ist druckvoller und höhere Frequenzen lassen ihn mehr singen. Da ich unverstärkt in einer Band mit Bläsern spiele ist für mich auch von Bedeutung, dass der Bass mit den neuen Saiten leichter durchkommt.
Allerdings hat es ein paar Tage gedauert, bis sich der volle Sound entfaltet hat. Am Anfang klangen sie richtig dünn.
Obwohl sie weniger zum Streichen gedacht sind, sprechen sie erstaunlich gut auf den Bogen an.
Bei der E und A-Saite hat sich nach dem Aufziehen die Ummantelung geöffnet. es ist eine kleine Kerbe entstanden. Ich hoffe, sie gehen da nicht kaputt. Aber wenn alles so bleibt, finde ich die Saiten sehr gut.

Klasse Saiten für Allroundgebrauch (Jazz,Klassik), für`s Slappen eigentlich nicht.

Bin aber sehr zufrieden damit, weil ich über einen zweiten Bass verfüge und somit
für jeden Musikstil bestens "versorgt" bin.

Gut wäre, wenn man den Saitensatz "weich" auch im Angebot hätte!Gerade für kleinere Instrumente(1/2) könnte das interessant sein.
