Diese "lange" Version der Dominant-Saiten (wird nur in "medium" hergestellt) ist gemacht für Bratschen mit einer Länge der leeren schwingenden Saite (Obersattel bis Steg) von 38,0 bis 39,5 cm, d.h. für "große" Bratschen (i.d.R. über 42 cm Korpuslänge). Insbesondere bei solchen Perlonkern-Saiten ist die Wahl der richtigen Saitenlänge entscheidend, damit die Saiten ihren klaren, obertonreichen Klang und Resonanz entfalten können. Die Dominant-Saiten sind Klassiker und werden von Profis wie Amateuren gerne gespielt, sie sind sehr stimmstabil und schnell eingespielt (etwa 3 Tage dauert es, bis die Saiten ihren etwas metallischen Beiklang verlieren). Die C-, G- und D-Saiten sind sehr empfehlenswert - neutrale Saiten, die die eigentliche Klangcharakteristik des Instruments unverfälscht zur Geltung bringen. Die Saitenspannung ist eher niedrig, d.h. die Saiten sind auch für historische Instrumente geeignet, die keine zu hohe Saitenspannung vertragen. Die A-Saite klingt zu nasal und ist inbesondere in den hohen Lagen zu "schwach" (daher ein Stern Abzug bei "Sound"). Empfehlenswert ist ein Austausch der Dominant A-Saite durch eine Jagar oder Larsen Stahl-A-Saite. Nach etwa einem halben Jahr sind die Saiten "verbraucht", d.h. sie verlieren ihre Klangschönheit, selbst wenn sie nicht beschädigt sind. Bei diesem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis tut eine Austausch der Saiten nach dieser Zeit aber nicht allzu weh.
