Half of the bowls of the set were not in the exact tune

I was disappointed with this purchase as the crystal bowls should be tuned to the exact note. However, 3 out of the 7 bowls were around 5 cents out of tune. Additionally, it took me around 15 minutes to remove one of the bowls from the bag as it was stuck, and I couldn't use one of the partitions because the bowl kept getting stuck. So perhaps they should have used a smaller partition for that bowl so that we could use it properly. Also, I had to wait almost 2 months to receive the set, and after mentioning the defect to customer support they just told me to send it back (without apologising for the inconvenience), and I would need to wait another 2 months to get a new one, but they couldn't promise that the new set would be in the correct tune so I had to keep the faulty one. A big disappointment, as I have been a long-time customer of Thomann and always had good experiences, but not this time.

Sie klingen genau so, wie man es sich von einem hochwertigen Crystal Bowl Set wünscht.

Die Schalen fühlen sich hochwertig an, haben eine schöne Resonanz und lassen sich mit dem mitgelieferten Silikonstab angenehm spielen. Auch die Taschen sind solide verarbeitet – insgesamt ein stimmiges Set!

Zum Thema „Off-Tune“ aus einer anderen Rezension:

Dieses Set ist bewusst auf 432 Hz gestimmt. Der Standard-Kammerton A liegt in westlicher Musik bei 440 Hz – dieses Set ist jedoch ein paar Cents tiefer gestimmt (432Hz). Das ergibt ein anderes, weicheres Intervallverhalten und wirkt auf viele Menschen meditativer oder beruhigender.

Gerade im Bereich Klangarbeit, Meditation oder Soundbaths wird 432 Hz oft bevorzugt. Wer hingegen im Studio präzise mit anderen Instrumenten auf 440 Hz arbeiten möchte, sollte ggf. zu einem entsprechend gestimmten Set greifen.

Für mein Einsatzgebiet – Soundbath und Klangmeditation – ist dieses Set ideal. Klare Empfehlung!
