Bought these to chuck in a bag for when im travelling to work. Wanted something i didn't have to worry about if it got damaged.
Build wise its all plastic, feels cheap and the swivel joints and headband adjuster are a bit stiff, i expect they will loosen out with time and wear. Cable is fixed so your stuck with what you get, length wise is fine for most users.
Comfort wise, not great. The stock pads are stiff but i hope they'll improve once broken in, I guess most will swap to the other velour style immediately once they try the default ones. The headband padding is acceptable, nothing fancy.
Sound is where it surprised me most, wasn't expecting them to be great but i like them for dance music. Good bass response and not muddy like on some other cheap sets.
The sound isolation is also decent, wore them on a loud bus and it blocked out everything around me. Even on a phone they got pretty loud, was well impressed with that.
Overall impression.. For the price you cant expect much, but you do get a good sounding headphone with plenty of bass.
You get an extra set of pads which are velour style and 2 jack adaptors one of which is right angled & kinda useful.
Shame about the comfort issue but if you need a cheap headphone for a kid or for yourself in an emergency they're worth a look. I'm hoping that will improve once they start to loosen up.
