The Grand Auditorium is Taylor's most versatile body shape and is equally suited to a wide range of playing techniques. The 814Ce also features Taylor's V-Class bracing, which provides increased volume, extended sustain and improved intonation. The 3.5 mil thin finish ensures optimised vibration behaviour. Rosewood back and sides give the guitar powerful bass and brilliance in the trebles with a slight emphasis on the upper mids. The pickup is the Taylor-designed active ES2 dynamic piezo system with bass, mid and treble controls.
