Well thought of design

It's good that it has holes so you can guide headphone cables the way you want. The wavy edges are nice for placing drum sticks when you're done practicing. I wish it was a bit more sturdy when attached to a cymbal stand, it's not really for leaning against, but this is a small remark. The hooks that are provided are a bit too small I think, maybe it's good for in-ears but I use headphones so maybe a bigger hook could have been provided.

Anyway this is a good product for it's price, it solves my problem of putting my phone on my floortom when practising..

I'm super happy with this. My phone, water bottle, towel, and key are in my arm's reach now. I can also drop a spare drumstick on it. Been worried a little it would go in my left hand's way but turned out fine. Also comes with a famous TAMA clamp.

Prima kompakte Ablage mit zwei kleinen Schwächen

Gewohnte Tama-Qualität, alles solide und sauber verarbeitet. Durch die Buchten des Randes kann man auch überlange Sticks ablegen, selbst ein Getränkehalter ist integriert. Die Ablagefläche selbst ist mit Filz bedeckt, um leises Ablegen von Dingen zu ermöglichen (man muss aber trotzdem darauf achten). Damit komme ich auch zur Schwäche: Die Buchten am Rand sind blanker Kunststoff, Sticks kann man so also nicht "mal schnell" ablegen, ohne Klappergeräusche zu verursachen, etwas schade.
Der zweite kleine Schwachpunkt ist die Befestigung selbst: Nicht dass sie nicht hielte, nein, die ist bombenfest (Tama Multiclamp eben), am Hi-Hat-Ständer (wie es von Tama selbst "empfohlen" wird), decken die Hi-Hat-Becken selbst relativ viel vom Stativ ab, selbst bei normalen 14"-Grössen.
Würde aber trotz allem zu dieser Ablage raten; die Ränder kann man ja mit Mossgummi oder ähnlichen Dingen abkleben, wenn es unbedingt nötig ist.
