Zeitloser Rocksound - eines meiner Lieblings Module!

In Zeiten, in denen fast monatlich neue Boutique Amps vorgestellt werden, hat es so ein schnöder JCM 800 - Clone für das Synergy System natürlich schwer noch viel Aufmerksamkeit zu bekommen - er hätte sie allerdings wirklich verdient! Mein erster Versuch mit dem 800 war unbefriedigend - ich habe ihn damals im 50 Watt Top von Synergy getestet - da funktioniert er nicht - die EL6 Röhren vertragen sich einfach nicht mit den Marshall Genen! Dann habe ich mir für meine 50 W Freyette EL34 Endstufe einen Synergy SYN 2 Preamp gegönnt und siehe - da geht die Marshall-Sonne auf. Sehr geschmackvoll haben die Synergy Jungs den 800 abgestimmt - nicht so kreischig wie manche JCM's daherkamen, aber mit eindeutiger 800'er DNA. Ich finde, das der 800 zu Unrecht diesen 80'er Stempel trägt. Klar hat er die Zeit mit geprägt - den Sound finde ich allerdings wesentlich zeitloser als das Plexi - Gezirpe, das im Moment wieder so schwer in Mode ist.
