SSL BUS+

An absolute joy to have in a rack. It's a highly flexible device with a lot of different/modern controls and routing options. You can go really subtle or aggressive either ways you end up with a musical signal. It's a fantastic addition to the Fusion when used on the Insert. I have used it for almost a month now, I can't find a single negative thing to say about this piece.
Punchy, fat, warm and harmonic!

Normally I'm the first to say go against the famous brands etc... I'm so happy i ignored myself this time round. This thing is ridiculously power and much easier to use than most people think.

The SSL Bus + is a very versatile bus compressor, with its 4 mode (stereo, sum stereo, dual mono, mid-side), the low THD which keeps the bass frequencies tidy, and the F/B is very useful for less aggressive grab. being able to add the Dynamic EQ with variable frequency, range, speed, shape and expand/compress make it extremely useful mix bus processor. where the 4k mode, especially above first few levels of distortion is useful for more specific mix channels or drum bus. the build quality and the feature set is impressive for the price. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I worked a few times in different studios with it! It was awesome.

NOW that I own it and spend some time with it, all I can say is:
1. Sounds unbelievable good in ANY scenario.
2. So easy, it delivers super fast saving you precious time, plus makes the process super fun.
3. Four modes, SC and Send/MS in one device. It’’s a Swiss knife.
4. Makes me wonder why it took me so long to put it in my studio.

Buy it. You need it. You just don’t know it yet.

Have had it for a couple of years now! My first ever outboard compressor.
Over the few years got quite a few to my desk. But SSL is my favourite, it does all well. Mastering, tracking or just messing around. For the price you get the most out of it.

Whoever does not own this device and from this company in particular has lost a lot in his life

I always wanted a hardware compressor and eq but i did not wanted to pay too much... This one was just perfect for the price and features it gives you. It's very well made and sounds really nice to me.

Finally, my productions sound like finished records.

I could never get to that point where everything is tucked neatly into its own pocket in the mix, but now I can. The amount of time shaping and flavours of 2bus comp on offer are impressive for what you might think is just an SSL Bus compressor. But it's does subtle and stereo, it does smashy pump (stereo sum) and it does magical things in mid/side.

Get this over your entire mix. You will be happy!
