Bin nach vielen weggeworfenen Reeds seit längerem auf Kunststoffblätter umgestiegen, und zwar sowohl auf Sopran, wie auf Alt und Tenor. Das Silverstein-Blatt spielt sich auch gleich zu Beginn*) geschmeidiger als zB Légère oder Yamaha, vergleichbar scheint es mir bei ähnlicher Stärke noch am ehesten mit Forestone Hinoki. Ich habe keine echten Favoriten, mal sagt mir das eine Blatt, mal das andere zu; je nach Luft (kein Verschreiber) und Laune und Schwierigkeit der Stücke.
*) Beim Forestone muss man jedoch im Gegensatz zu den anderen die Hinweise vor dem Gebrauch ernst nehmen, sonst gibt es eine Enttäuschung.
