Sandberg wins again.
The masterpiece necks are a total smoke show.
Incredibly comfortable and not as thick as normal fender, five string jazz basses.
Preamp is very simple and usable 2 band with treble in bass.
The Delano pickups sound fantastic but they do have a particular sound that you need to know that you would like.
I’m taking one star off because Sandberg’s Intonation system on their bridges is absolutely and inexcusably bad. You need to de-tune the string, detach the whole saddle, and manually move it by hand up or down, guessing the correct position. Then reattach the saddle, re-tune the string, and check if you got it correct. If not, you need to repeat the whole process. Ridiculous.
Intonation on any other bass is with a simple Philip screwdriver.
Aside from that the instrument is fantastic and I’m incredibly happy with it.
