Wir benutzen diesen Bogen für den Einsatz im Perkussionsregister für Becken und Vibrafon. Mit ein wenig Kolofon für Kontrabass erfüllt es seinen Auftrag in dieser Hinsicht bestens. (Für all jene, die davor noch nie einen Bogen an einem Becken einsetzen mussten: Der Trick besteht darin, den Bogen nur recht locker zu spannen, dann klappt es praktisch von alleine.)
Ich wüsste nicht, was ein Bogen mit Echthaar da besser machen könnte, vor allem dürfte die Abnutzung an einem Becken deutlich höher sein als an einer Saite.
