Ich habe das KD-12 als Ersatz für das KD-10 gekauft, da mir der Rebound vom KD-10 zu hart war. Mit dem KD-12 fühlt sich der Rebound für mich nun weniger hart und damit besser an, zwar immer noch von einer akustischen Kickdrum verschieden, aber gut spielbar.

Das Spielgeräusch selbst erscheint mir etwas leiser als das der KD-10, aber nicht wirklich essentiell weniger.

Insgesamt daher aus meiner Sicht eine deutliche Verbesserung meines TD-316 Kits, auch wenn der Preis schon Roland-typisch „sportlich“ ist.
