Complete wireless PA distribution system

The RF Venue PA Extension Kit is a complete wireless audio distribution system for PA deployments where running cables is impractical, awkward, or simply unsafe. The kit pairs a 1RU dual-channel transmitter with two single-channel receivers, covering the core use case out of the box – each receiver mounts directly to a satellite speaker and outputs the audio locally, eliminating long copper runs across stages, foyers, and outdoor sites. Audio travels via analogue FM stereo in the 470–506MHz UHF band, sitting outside the spectrum typically used by wireless mics and IEMs, so the system doesn't fight for room with the rest of the RF rig. Transmitter-to-receiver pairing happens at the push of a button over a separate 2.4GHz sync link. Range is around 100m line-of-sight on the supplied half-wave antennas, with field reports of 100m+ through brick walls and over 130m in the open with the optional CP Beam antenna.

RF Venue RF PA Extension Kit

True Diversity and delay line

Each receiver runs True Diversity reception – two antennas per unit, automatically selecting the stronger signal to ride out reflections, obstructions, and crowd movement. Output is selectable between a stereo mix or either of two independent mono channels, opening the system up to L/R FOH, dual-zone distribution, or separate feeds for monitor and lobby. The transmitter takes balanced combo inputs at line level and offers hardwired audio pass-throughs that leave the primary signal path intact even when the transmitter is powered down. Per-receiver delay covers up to 800ms, enough to time-align satellite speakers separated from the main PA by the equivalent of 274m of acoustic propagation. A front-panel LCD on each receiver shows group, channel, RF and AF metering, sync ID and delay. Switchable 10/50mW RF power keeps the transmitter compliant with regional regulations.

RF Venue RF PA Extension Kit

Who it's for

The Kit suits mobile PA operators, event crews, houses of worship, and small touring rigs needing a reliable wireless feed where cabling is the limiting factor – parade routes, outdoor ceremonies, distributed room systems, and temporary multi-speaker setups. The push-button sync and front-panel LCDs mirror a wired connection – keeping setup fast and straightforward, no dedicated RF technician or network configuration required. The honest trade-off of UHF analogue FM is that it shares the band with TV white space and other wireless gear, so a quick channel check at busier sites is worth the minute it takes – and the 470–506MHz allocation is subject to regional licensing rules. The transmitter can remote-sync up to five receivers from the front panel; beyond that, additional units are tuned at the receiver itself. For deployments that start at scale, the RF PA Extension 8-Pack covers the same ground with eight receivers in one box.

Deploy, mount, expand

Each receiver ships with mounting screws and hook-and-loop tape that attach directly to a loudspeaker cabinet, alongside a 12V DC power supply and a mini-XLR to XLR cable. The transmitter ships with two half-wave UHF antennas, BNC pass-through panel mounts, and an AC cable. The pass-through panel mounts let the transmitter sit permanently in-line with an existing wired feed – useful in installed rigs where the wireless link is an addition, not a replacement. Receivers are IP54-rated, offering protection against dust and splashing water for everyday outdoor conditions. At 365×70×30mm and 454g per receiver, the system packs down small for transport between events – venue to festival to conference room without specialist logistics. Additional RF PA RX4 receivers can be freely added to the system, making the Kit a practical entry point for operators whose deployments grow over time: A two-zone setup today can scale to a full distributed install without replacing the transmitter or redesigning the system.
